Automated Article Submission

Using an Automated Article Submission Services
I reluctantly subscribed to an automated system that “publishes” my article in about 450 sites. Yesterday I queued an article only to find out today that nothing happened. Further review of the site’s admin area showed that I had missed a few steps — the first was that I needed to create an email address to receive all the account confirmations, and the second was that I actually needed to confirm every publishing account that I was going to use to submit. Ouch!
That was 450 mouse movements times around 6 per confirmation. So, after 2 hours and 2,700 mouse clicks and movements, I was done. The reason I don’t believe in automated systems such as this is because of what can happen next: I can submit around 100 articles now to all the directories.
How effective is that? Well, I am about to find out. This is purely a test as I cannot pass up. It’s a win-win situation. If it works, traffic can surge. If it doesn’t I can chalk up to a lesson of over expectations and go back to the old way.
What is the old way? Well, that too I am doing. The old way of submitting articles is selecting just 10 such services and submitting them manually each day. I am doing that AFTER I take each days’ article and editing it to make a two new ones — One for ArticleMINT, the site I’ve setup. The second for the list of article sites I’ve selected.
As you may have noted, Rich Sage traffic has surged in the last week. When I checked today, it had increased greatly and I first thought it was because of the articles. I was not. So, in the coming days I’ll check again where the traffic is originating to find the effectiveness of auto-submissions and manual submissions to the article directories.
It’s a long task list. Back to work!
