Business Information Gateway Directory Wiki

I spent much of the week installing, configuring and working a little with a WIKI.  This is the first time I’ve worked with such software.  Around 2 years ago I downloaded the wiki software and never got it running.

This time around in about 15 minutes the software was up and running.  They have made several major improvements in the software.

The wiki software is the same as the software running wikipedia.org.  My plan is to use it to manage a very large business directory with the aide of a few thousand affiliates. The first stage of the setup is running here:

My second goal is to develop an administration interface that will help manage all aspects of the site using a desktop program connected to the wikis API.

All this is a lot of work, and I now remind myself not to write too much very late in the day.  Thus, I’ll end my post now.
