Digital Point Forums Review by the Rich Sage

Several weeks ago I posted a review about the Warrior Forum, which I think is the best marketing forum on the Internet if you are seeking answers to advertising and marketing problems.

Today I am reviewing the Digital Point Forum, which I think is the best forum for advertising and marketing purposes because of the shear volume of users. There is a huge discussion about a diverse topic base, but I feel that the answers that I often see at the Digital Point Forum are inferior to the quality of the answers at the Warrior Forum.

Digital Point Forums

However, if you have a product or service that you wish to market, given the number of visitors and registered users, there is no better place than the Digital Point Forum.

Some of the advantages and disadvantages of the Digitalpoint Forums…

PRIMARY Advantage of the Digital Point Forum:

  • When I visited just a few minutes ago, the forum had over 3,000 users, with a base of over 50,000 active members. The most users was 9,000+ just this month! And the number of posts are over 7 million.
  • The user base is huge. Only at some tech forums such as Google or Yahoo have I seen more users.
  • Additionally, the Digital Point Forums have more categories that are marketing related and address specific needs and problems Internet Marketers face.

Digital Point Forums user numbers

My suggestion to anyone learning about Internet marketing is to do the following:

  • If you are trying to learn the best how to plans and get exact advice, stick to the community at the Warrior Forum.
  • If you are marketing a product to each of the communities, you can utilize the WSO’s (Warrior Special Offers) or the Warrior Marketplace.
  • In the Digital Point Forums you can participate in a rather diverse amount of discussions, but getting to any type of prominence in the membership community will take much longer because of the large user base.
  • The Digital Point Forum also presents an area called “Buy, Sell or Trade” which you can use to advertise your products.

My last suggestion is that you need to “dive right in” and start participating. Only then can you truly expand your horizons and see what you can accomplish. If you don’t, you’ll never know. In my case, I participate in both forums as often as I can.

Carpe Diem,
Rich Sage

My experience of DP is one of great frustration. I was initially banned for one week and not told why. I emailed admin and mods to enquire, no reply.

I then posted on the forum to ask why, and got a rude message in response, followed by 2 infractions for daring to question the mods. I then asked why I was not allowed to discuss this with the moderators or administrator, and got banned for a month, again without any explanation. The email I got informing me of the ban read “reason: you neeed a rest”.

It seems the mods are not interested in anything but throwing infractions at members, apparently without cause.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Keep in mind that just about all of these forums are *private* areas and don’t tolerate any opinions that don’t advance their own agenda.

I participate in just two forums, and I only post when I can help someone.

I suppose doing anything else can get one banned. Always tread carefully –at times having a strong opinion may not result in universal acceptance.

You are right. I’ve never encountered such stupid moderators. I registered twice by mistake. When I saw that, I mailed a moderator and I asked him for help. I told him what I did and I asked him to remove the second account I registered by mistake. He banned me… lol!! I am banned forever from the forum. God!! I asked him for help and he banned me.

The problem is that I bought some websites and services from other members. I created myself a profile and got some good reviews from the sellers. Now they are gone.

I sent them 3 mails and I tried to explain again but they didn’t even bother to answer back. Not even when I asked them to tell me if they are going to restore my account or not.

The moderator who banned me had his websites in the signature. I went to one of his website and I contacted him. Again, no answer…

If you go to the forum, you will see that 1/3 of the users are banned

So don’t you ever count on their help and be prepared to be banned in the near future…

Sorry for my English..

Greetings from Sweden

Hi Everyone,
I have a carpet cleaning business in Houston,TX that was doing pretty good until the economy went bad, and with it my clientele. I have a website for the business but I dont
know what I have to do the get it to show up in a search. Right now it’s somewhere in the yahoo/google netherworld (LOL).

Is there someone on here that can give me some insight or know of anyone that coud give me insight on how I can get my local website on the front
page of a Yahoo or Google search to increase my business without it costing me 5 or 10k $$$? If so please share with me.

I thank you and my hungry over-eating children thank you.

thanks,

HI,

Sure I can help… Getting your website to the first page of a Google search is not that difficult. What you need to do is build some quality links.

STEP ONE: Write some articles about your business. Perhaps, even a press release about a special offer. Make sure your writing has the key words “commercial carpet cleaning” and “Houston, Texas” and many variations of it in the content.

Each article will have a “resource box” at the bottom. Make sure that your KEY WORD PHRASES link back to your website. So, if your key word phrase = commercial carpet cleaning, then use those words to link back to your site.

STEP TWO: Then post your articles to my list of Article Publishing Sites, and consider the press release publishing via PRWEB.

In about a week or two you’ll see results. Then keep up the process with various publishing steps –check out Google’s Webmaster central for additional steps to take.

Your work to get to search page one is a *process* and not an one-time event. So, you’ll need to do a bit every month to keep up the standings in searches. But, your organic leads are FREE so all this is not a waste of time.

Success, RS.
