Blogpreneur,

The main advantage is that AdManager by Google is hosted. Apart from that, they continue to make advances and error corrections to their platforms, at a pace that the open source community cannot keep up with.

All this is free, and supports integration with AdSense. Add to that the credibility of a Google service reporting stats and I think you have a compelling reason to go with AdManager over the other possibilities.

Success,
RS

Correct Bob, thanks for pointing that out. As for the next installment --very soon. I need to finish the AdManager setup as well.

when is the next installment of the review.

also I think in your article's last sentence - "This I hope is just the begging for my long-term relationship ..." you mean "beginning"

Hello Chase,
Yes, the Ad Manager will deliver Google Ad Sense ads until your advertising spaces are "filled" by ad clients.

Overall, the Google Ad Manager tool is very well setup, and I too abandoned a open source ad manager program in favor of Google's Ad Manager.

Keep in mind that it delivers independent stats, which I am sure our advertisers favor overwhelmingly.

Success,
RS.

Rich - Thank you for the heads up and the review. I have been using my own ad server but if this integrates with my Google Affiliate and Ad Sense account, it will take extra steps out of my process and I am all for efficiency.
