Google Apps Gets an Update with Teams Feature

Over the week I took a look at Google’s online applications that now has a feature allowing collaboration by creating a team. Google Apps Team Edition feature allows you to create a simple account using your domain name, and then enables you to invite “team members” who have an e-mail address in the same domain.

Here is a short video explaining the benefits:

Google Apps Team Edition Start Page:

Google Team start page allows for you to maintain one central place to manage many of the team functions. This is apart from the normal Google start page. The team page even allows you to see the latest email, calendar and many other features that complement the work atmosphere.

I have only discussed some of the major additions to Google Apps Team. Keep in mind that many Google applications will find there way here, if Google is as smart as they appear. For example, the docs feature will be one of the most used parts of the team area. This allows you to easily collaborate with your team.

Google Teams Calendar:

Perhaps, one of the most helpful features that I saw in the team setup was the calendar that also shows your team what you’re doing at any particular time.

I think one of the most powerful concepts that helps everyone make money online is to collaborate with professionals of many talents to come up with one product. Using Google App’s Teams, this process is much easier and effortless to manage and share information with people effectively across many timezones.

Hey Rich Sage,

this is great. I’ve always wanted to use Google Applications for my coaching business and between my employees.

Now I can finally share my schedule and documents with all my clients.

Thanks for letting me know this way ;)
