Google Key Word Tool Review by the Rich Sage

Perhaps the most vital task in Internet marketing (IM) is the gathering of key words. Google has finally stepped up to the plate and offered this elegant tool that suggests hundreds of key words and phrases.

I am running around 10 marketing campaigns and I’ve used this tool often to gather advertising words and key word phrases. At one time Yahoo had a tool that was used often as it displayed how often a key word or phrase was searched.

Google’s tool does not do that. It does display a graph that relates how popular the phrase is to start with, but that’s all.

One tip I can give you:  I download a TEXT file of the key words which I insert into a Excel file.  I suppose you can download a CSV file and read it with Excel.  I stick to the text file because I can merger several such file as I “harvest” a lot of key words/phrases.

Our need is phrases. Lists and lists of key words to get our advertising done. Google’s external AdWords tool does just that.
