Hi-Traffic Blog Site Critique
Category: BRAND BUILDING
Hi-Traffic Blog Site Critique,
Once traffic is established, it’s about one-self, and not making it better.
This is what I observed visiting several high-traffic blog sites. The objective of the blogger was to promote more and more products, services and joint ventures that they were working on –WHILE NOT doing much to help readers create more and more traffic to their own site.
What this does is create an opportunity for myself –to deliver to readers more and more about how to build a business, traffic and long-term success.
The Next Problem is that once traffic is built, it’s all about selling to new users more and more products.
One of the bloggers claimed that he was “turning out†a new product about once a week. That means that if just one new product is made every-other-week, there would be 26 new products or projects to sell annually. So, looking around, my assumption was that “it’s all about making products and selling them†than helping the readers. I felt that a lot of the people who hung around were doing so just to join in a joint venture.
Doing some of the above is fine, but I think the problem is that one loses focus and the very reasons that led to the original business growing start to “die offâ€. Of course, until the traffic trend starts to slow down, the blog owner will “milk it†all that they can.
Lastly, there seems to be no uniform, broad solution to meet the demands of small business.
My last observation was that none of the 4 or 5 blogs that I visited had a long-term solution for small businesses that needs good products and services.
After reaching this conclusion, I am 100% comfortable with the business plan I’ve setup
A. Free Services to registered members
B. Paid Membership services to aide small business, with solutions for publishing, mailing list management and traffic building –bundled into one small monthly fee
C. High-ticket membership for the NEXT SuperStock effort
In summary my goal remains to help those who visit here to build their own business –first, from my writing, then using my free membership and then with my monthly services membership. At each point I create and add value. The formula for a very sound business plan.
