Internet Marketing Done Right –Rich Sage Underground

Many of the actions that occurred organically in the real world are now forced business practices of Internet Marketing.  No wonder most people fail to make money online.

Take for example, a time when a good quality, in depth article made a contribution to small business.  Such an article solved problems and informed the small business person.  Soon you had something that had a long shelf life and made a significant contribution to the success of the small business.

No longer.  Now it’s about articles that are written by “software” and then “spun” 100 different ways to make more and more articles.  Often the justification for doing so is just to build links and a trickle of traffic.

Forget about quality –It’s the volume that counts.  Or is it?

QUALITY vs. QUANTITY

If you look at the most viewed articles in many of the article directories, they are well written, informative articles on current subjects.

Such a scenario where the traffic gravitates to quality writing will never change.

Given such examples, what can the Rich Sage Underground Members utilize to make money online?

Time after time I have mentioned using a local business model with the knowledge that one gains marketing online.  Apply what you learn online on a local basis and you’ll find plenty of businesses that want to hear your message, use your skills and share in the success.  In fact, you will find out that you can earn much more working with local clients than trying to just stick to online products and marketing.

Seeing this model work first hand, I’ve come up with the below plan to help Members build a local business:

FREE SITE SETUP: Using Wordpress.  In this case, you offer to setup a free website with the business providing the basic text. You install the usual plugins and in a hour or two you have a site setup.  You charge the client for the domain, and any special requests.

Over the long term, it is your objective to:

  • Help the client generate leads.
  • Get excellent search engine exposure.
  • Publish press releases and articles.

All these tasks you’ll bill the client per event, hence earning a ‘consulting fee’ by the hour.

LEAD GENERATION: Regardless of the way your client is working with you, IF they have a product to sell, you can generate leads for them.  I’ve setup biig.NET and biig.COM to help you do just that.  The BiiG.COM directory lists your client’s website and allows you to point them to pages on a website to generate leads –especially, discounts, offers, etc.  OR you can just use biig.NET to setup a form collecting the information your client wants.  With biig.NET, you could setup a site such as farms-for-sale.virginia.biig.net for example.

When it comes to payment, you can either do all the work for free and charge the client a little extra for leads, or you can do a combination of up-front and per lead fees.

Leads can even be generated using Savepedia(TM) and making an offer to the Members of the discount network.  Either way, your client will realize very quickly that our network is dependable channel for sales leads and new customers.

PAID SITE SETUP: Using WordPress.  This is the same process as discussed earlier (setting up a site of your own), but you have negotiated an up-front payment to do everything from setting up the site to generating leads.

MEDIUM SITE: Using Wordpress, Joomla, Mambo, SMF, vBulletin, etc.  Public domain software to setup such a site is numerous.  My suggestion is that you work on the theme, setup the site’s description and pugins needed by the client to build a successful online presence, while outsourcing the actual work needed.

COMPLETE E-COMMERCE SITE: Using Drupal.  But, based on the complexity –not necessarily restricted to one software.  The idea here is for you to focus on the Internet marketing aspects of the client, while you manage and deliver using outsourcing resources the technical details needed by the client.  These are very large projects and may need many individuals helping you to deliver on what you have promised.

MAXSIMO ADMIN PROGRAM: The goal of my ADMIN program is to help you better manage each clients needs by:

  • Management of articles, ads and press releases
  • Management of lead generation
  • Management of your time helping the client
  • Providing the network to manage mailing lists
  • Provide management tools for Wordpress
  • Provide you the ability to deliver as many paying services to your clients

The ADMIN program that I have kept working on and planning on delivering in April of 2009 has two intentions — to help manage the network services and help you earn the most money online.

Initially, when you help the client you can do all the work and bill the client for services.  Over time, the software program can also be sent to the Client or the Client’s staff, who can then maintain the services that we provide WITHOUT your intervention.  Once such a trust is established, you can stay “hands off” and allow the client to do their own work.  For payment, you’ll receive a percentage of a monthly membership fee paid by the Client for accessing our network.

The primary advantage of working with my setup is the sustainability of the projects and the fact that each network site gets stronger as it’s used by businesses to grow.  The more Savepedia(TM), biig.COM and biig.NET are used, the more powerful they get.  This directly helps my Member to make more money online!

Carpe Diem,
Rich Sage
