My YouTube Strategy

Category: BRAND BUILDING

Using YouTube to Deliver Traffic

My goal working with YouTube is to build the Rich Sage brand into a provider of lessons that help everyone.  My first attempt to develop a video failed when it was too long. Then I put the video in the previous post, and it’s not the best.  However, I don’t mind as it’s just a start.  It felt good just getting #1 out of the way.

I’ll devide the lessons into three categories –Basic, Experienced and PRO.  The basic and experienced ones will run on YouTube, while the PRO ones will be available via my free membership.

This strategy also fits in with my goal to explode the traffic to RichSage.COM by reaching several article sites, creating the Rich Sage 2008 Contest and the videos.

I’ll get just ONE SHOT at this and my aim is to reach the threshold during the holidays.

Hello Kenney,
The answer is YES. Why? I go where the traffic *is* and work on building the brand there –thru articles, contests and now video to help others, the brand is built and the traffic keep growing.

Brand building and advertising cannot be seen as a ONE SHOT deal –one has to keep doing it consistently, in the right places to build the buzz and brand.

Success, Rich Sage

That definitely makes sense. Go where the traffic is and present the video. You can identify which areas of YouTube receive the traffic for whatever genre of videos. Post there.
