Earning at least USD$123.00 per Day With Adsense

This is an on-going study, research topic and “How To” series about AdSense and how to earn at least $123 from operating one or more websites that display Google’s AdSense ads.

Simply put, AdSense delivers ads based on the content of your site. Write about horses, and you’ll see ads based on horses. Write about gardening and the ads will be about gardening. Or in my case, write content for financial sites and the ads will be from financial related advertisers.

I like to work with AdSense because they are the biggest and best when it comes to implementing the technology. I should add that in the past few quarters Google has paid nearly $1 Billion dollars in commissions to AdSense advertisers.

Most of the week I have been busy moving various parts of the Rich Sage.com web site. Much of the work involved backing up a database on the old server and restoring it on the new server.

Little by little I’ve started to ‘bring to life’ the properties that I wanted to work with once live on the new server…

The FREE AD FORUM is up and running. So is a Rich Sage Underground Area, where I’ll host lessons, and work on a business plan that should result in outstanding success for Affiliates.

Now I am rushing to put the final touches on a few aspects of the site that I need running before I can call “June” a success. I think all month I’ll be ‘updating’ and ‘tweaking’ the site. However, the major part of the work was to be done during the first week. I have almost gotten that part done!

My emphasis in the redesign of Rich Sage dot com is to:

• Help organize information to help readers find the answers that they are looking for.
• Move away from an advertising and monetizing format to one that primarily relies on a membership to generate revenue. I will still run ads, but the site will not emphasize the ads. Actually, many of the ads that I plan to run are for my own membership!

What’s Left?

• Rich Sage Marketplace: I need to add a lot of products and remove the default inventory that came with the Zen Cart.
• Rich Sage Underground: A few more lesson plans and updating the membership system to protect the site. Then I am ready to invite the first set of students.

So, what’s next?

Finally, the third version of the Rich Sage dot Com is live! Now my work really starts… I am introducing several new areas for my readers –The FREE Ad Forum, the Marketplace and an UNDERGROUND Area (this might be password protected) where I will introduce a community and offer lessons based on my innovative business plan.

There are many major changes, and some that are minor but present great challenges. Take for example, that most of my posts started with an image. That is no longer possible because the link that leads to the “Continue Reading” area displays an ad image first. That is written into the code. I have to start each post with my thoughts. But, I am very happy with the new format and find it easy to work with. That is what counts… I need to have a “work place” that I enjoy making contributions!

Checklist to Help Move from Regular/VPS Hosting to a Dedicated Server

I am sure starting out making money online, you opted for regular hosting –either the shared type where you can host as many domains as allowed or a VPS (virtual private server) that mimics a dedicated server virtually. Either way, as traffic builds, you’ll out-grow what you started with.

That’s what is happening to me. I started the Rich Sage on a VPS with about 100 other domains. The VPS kept getting slower because of the demands from various properties. To help grow, I moved the ‘Sage’ to a dedicated server that was acting as a backup. Now that has slowed down.

The only choice is to move the ‘Sage’ to a robust dedicated server, and the switch occurs this weekend.

Here are the precise steps I am taking to move the hosting:

Building the Rich Sage Community –Results After Six Months of Effort:

With the month of June to go, half of 2008 has just gone in a flash. Today I wanted to discuss what was completed in that time, and the major efforts that will be completed in June –which for me is a transition period between a time when I raised funds to a period where the business plan is executed 100%.

Monthly pages views are now exceeding 200,000. I still consider this ONLY 20% of my goal. My page view goal will be reach with the below additions that are going live in June.

The month of June, the 13th month since I got Rich Sage dot Com started, will be used to “put it all together” starting with the new Rich Sage 4-column theme that goes live sometime on Sunday. The new theme will help visitors better navigate the content, access membership areas better and use the Rich Sage community –better and faster.

While all this is going on, I’ve kept up my work as a fund management consultant, taking on several new Clients in May.

My Off-Line Work:

My objective with my off-line work continues to accelerate. As I said, I have several new Clients, and my aim is to get them my target of 60% to 70% annual return trading their accounts on the American stock markets. I’ll keep growing that part of my work until I have about 50 Clients.

The Client management work also includes what I’ve done at NEXT SuperStock, which has not been updated. It too will get the same theme as the Rich Sage, with different colors. That is my next project using WordPress.

Rich Sage Underground

Today I setup the Rich Sage Underground Academy. Note that this area will be password protected in the future. The “Underground” as I will call it, will feature a forum area providing the main interaction between my students and the company staff, who will help the students build their business according to the business plan that I’ve setup. In addition to the forum, there is also a blog area where the students can collect the most informative posts, and their own work. There is also an area where projects that the company is working on can be featured.

The purpose of this subscriber only area is to:

• Help students learn how to monetize their part of the online community.
• Participate with our staff, myself and each other to build the community.
• Participate with each other to learn about the tools and services to benefit clients.
• Help make our products, services and tools better.
• Lastly, to help the students build a substantial income from their own home based business.
