TechSmith Camtasia Studio 6.0 Review by the Rich Sage

Ok, finally I am getting into videos.  I mentioned almost a year earlier that videos were part of my work to build traffic.  To date I haven’t posted a single credible video.  I have made several, but just didn’t feel good about the content.  Most of the time people tell me that my soothing voice puts them to sleep. Ouch!

Well, that tends to be because I venture into the technical side of things all too often.  I need to mix some real human drama in between to make it lively.  I will certainly try.

My Plan with Videos:

• Just get started presenting helpful content.
• Transition by the summer into video with my images, various locations and stills.  By that time my video & photo gallery should be live.
• Use Camtasia to make videos exclusively for my Member area.  Some Member videos will be public via YouTube. Others will be just for Members.
• Just for Member video will display video using the Camtasia player.
• I’ll maintain a make money online theme, but I will also add another theme that will be part of BiiG.COM and a special project that I plan to start this summer in micro-finance worldwide -to help Entrepreneurs.

My post today is all about videos and making them using Camtasia Studio 6.0 by TechSmith.  I have used the latest version a few weeks and it’s great!

YouTube Kills the Reader!  Well, almost…

While back when I got started –actually just 18 months ago building the Rich Sage Universe I discussed traffic building.  I managed to do just about all the traffic building steps.  Just one is left –working with YouTube.  Until now I didn’t feel that I had anything that was important enough to put on YouTube.  It seems like no matter what you can think of someone has already put up a video about it, how to build it or how to duplicate some sinister plan and go to jail.

None of that interested me. I wanted to do something with “make money online”, but it had to be original.  Now I just have such a plan.  No, I didn’t find some personality that’s half nude to present my material, although the idea did cross my mind.

Come to think of it, The Sage is shirtless!  Ok, I don’t think that’s going to cost any visitors!

Anyway, my idea to be original (as I start) is to present how to aspects of my Rich Sage Underground, travel and philosophy all packed into videos.  After some success under my belt, I can add some madness to reach the viral crowd.

Rich Sage Affiliate Program Update 2009

Although I launched my Rich Sage Underground this year, I didn’t launch an Affiliate program as part of it.  I believe for any online, digital type product, an affiliate program is essential to refer new Members, generate an outstanding income, and, in my case, keep a robust learning environment.

By instituting an affiliate program, the very lessons that Members learn, they can then apply in the online world to build their business and grow their success.

Wow, just like that the year is over.  Everyone seems to have put out a best of 2008, TOP 10 type of list.  I didn’t.  I actually have a lot of lists to finish –it’s a work in progress, and going rather well.

Now I feel an energy that I have not felt for several years.

That energy will transfer into 2009 with a drive to build my base of Members to 2,500 –which is the estimated number of Members that I need to fully implement the success model I’ve published.

Now is time to take a break before a “second life”…

WordPress 2.7 Review by the Rich Sage

For about half a year I was running WordPress 2.5.x with great satisfaction at Rich Sage dot com and several other sites.  However, to keep up with the times and improvements, I just upgraded to WordPress 2.7.1.  In this review I’ll mention a few of the reasons that you too should upgrade.  Especially, IF you skipped a 2.6 upgrade like I did.

The most important benefit I see from the WordPress advancements is the Admin ability to control more of the features.  The visual administration of the content management system is greatly enhanced –with most features just a click or two away.
