Article Publishing Strategy and a Success Update
This is an update to my article writing post from January.
Articles generate a lot of highly-targeted traffic. I didn’t just write articles –I worked on a strategy to post them based on the quality of article sites. I went even one step further — I also based my publishing on the quality of the article. This is a summary about what I’ve done and my future plans.
By posting articles my objective was to accomplish these tasks:
- Build a reader base
- Build a subscriber base for RSS and Members
- Get a lot of one-way links pointing to the Sage from article sites
- Have those links pointing to the Sage based on particular key words
What I have Accomplished:
- By the end of February, I had a PR3 Rank. I have now reached my goal 50% — I hope to end up with a PR6 Rank by June 08.
- Traffic is growing 50% per month and accelerating. That growth will lead to 10,000 ‘hits’ per day by June as well.
What I am Doing Now and Will Add to My Routine:
- Basic articles are getting published via JetSubmitter in bulk fashion mainly for the key words that link back to Rich Sage.
- Better articles are published here and since I have 150 of them to write, that’s a lot of content to add.
- The BEST articles are getting published at the list of article sites.
- Then Rinse ‘n Repeat –just keep doing more of what work.
The Best Rich Sage Traffic Sources:
- My brand -as it’s searched
- Search engine optimization
- Articles
- E-Mail and RSS Feeds
- Just creating good ‘ol fashion “buzz” –forums, publishing sites, even local meetings…
Where I expect Traffic to Great Expand:
- Search engines, through optimization of various pages at Rich Sage.
- Contest, marketplace and e-books –I will do more using sub-domains.
- Off-line Promotions: Everywhere I go, everything that I do, I’ll promote the ‘Sage’ and my philosophies.
- Success. Yes, just talking about and living the success creates “buzz” and more success!
The above lists show what I’ve done, what I am doing, and what I think I’ll have to do to reach my goals. What I haven’t mentioned is the importance of momentum, trust, dedication and just plain hard work. Yeah, I do all of that. That’s what makes all of this just a bunch of fun and I enjoy it each day.
Success to you!
Carpe Diem, Rich Sage
