Rich Sage Journey

Today being 08/08/08 I too have to make some plans.  Since the most extravagant plans involve healthy finances, I’ll first say that everything I’ve setup here will continue, with some minor parts getting added.

In the coming days and weeks  -really, I suppose, years!, my exclusive focus is on building the Rich Sage Underground and the Rich Sage Community.  Those are the only items that take up most of my focus.

The “journey” that I wanted to mention today is one involving real travel  -something I’ve wanted to do for around 20 years.  Well, since high school, and finally, I see that I can do it in my own way.

There are three primary reasons I want to plan this trip:

• I want to see several places before my work and family life gets really busy
• I want to use the opportunity to promote the Rich Sage Community as much as possible
• Part of my “community building” involves an organization that will help local causes  -I want to meet as many of my local Affiliates, and understand their communities as well as I can.

I don’t think I can accomplish any of this by sitting behind a PC.

My journey, as I’ll call it, involves a lot of time  -travel around 2 or 3 days a week, and work.  I suppose a day or two of rest would not hurt.  Actually, given what I need to get done before the end of 2009, I have to practically work every day of the week.

I don’t mind all the work at all, because I enjoy the progress that I make and the freedom that success gives me –I have more time and money to explore what I want.  Even at work, nearly all week, I am doing what I enjoy the most, exploring the ideas and passions that challenge me.

So, the travel plan will keep me very busy.  I hope to have a “test” of this plan before the end of this year.  Before the test, I’ll install GALLERY  -the online photo management database program.  Then I’ll pick up one of the better Canon EOS Digital cameras to document all my travel.

Between now and then, I need to finalize where I’ll get some of the below made:

• Rich Sage Diva and Rich Sage Prodigy t-Shirts
• Mugs and other handouts
• Calendar and pens
• About 100,000 business cards  -2nd generation
• Brochure about the Rich Sage Community
• I also want to make a special package to give to Affiliates who I’ll meet on my travels

One of the keys to increasing my site traffic is to get the attention of traditional media.  I’ve written a list of press release publishing sites, but I haven’t released any because I have not done anything remarkable.  At least not yet!

I hope that this journey, exploring the world, combined with the Rich Sage messages will be enough to “stir the imagination” of a bunch of real-world readers and get the attention of the press.

It’s nice to work in a virtual world, but I believe the real success can only be attained when the virtual world is combined with the real world and everything is discussed in the traditional media.  Then things really TAKE OFF!

That is what I hope to accomplish with my travels.  And on this lucky day, I will start making the plans to get my journey –traveling in the real world –started!
