Today I started posting a series of posts to organize information. Most of such posts are titled Rich Sage TOP 100 Something. My objective is to create about 20 posts that are “anchor” posts –Ones that get a lot of traffic and get mentioned often in forums, other blogs, etc. Most posts take a day or two to write. However, these posts will mostly be a “work in progress” or take several weeks to gather the research.

The reasons that I embarked on this exercise was to showcase a series of posts that got the attention of readers. I noticed that on many blog sites there were a group of posts that got the reader attention overall. They were highlighted as the most viewed posts often.

My objective is not to “have that happen” accidentally — My objective is to actively create a series of posts that take my best writing and feature it for everyone to see.

These type of posts also give a great opportunity to get trackbacks, mentions in other blogs, and overall, great press. Take for example this post about a 11-Step Plan to Make Money Online that I just created. It had some great reviews at the Warrior Forum. In the same manner, my objective is to create the above posts that get great reviews and get mentioned often as possible.

Let me summarize each type of post:

• Rich Sage Success MindSet: Just discuss my various philosophies and those that apply to business. I think that the “pen and paper” days of business success and focus that led to the current climate is often forgotten by small business. In this post I’ll explore those ideas and make a case that those philosophies are more important than ever in the current online climate.
• Fastest Traffic Building Methods: Everyone with a web site wants to build traffic. I will explore what I have seen are the fastest ways of doing that, with examples and “How To” information only an experienced webmaster can provide.
• Best Article Writing & Publishing Tools: I suppose there are hundreds of tools to get published information “out the door” — This post will review the ones that I feel are the best short list of sites that make that happen.
• TOP 100 Traffic Building Tips: Again, these are general traffic building tips. I have a list of 131 of such tips. I’ll review them and post a TOP 100 summary.
• Business Credit Building: Every business needs credit. This is a tutorial that I’ve written for Business Credit Building dot com, which I setup after a bad experience paying someone to do something I could have done in a few weeks.
• TOP 100 WordPress World: WordPress. I see millions of users. They all want to do the same thing with their WordPress Content Management Site. I want to help them, especially the business users, with a list of plugins and addons that I think WP users cannot live without.
• TOP 100 How To Plans & e-Books: There are around 50,000 new people getting online daily. This number will explode as the cost of getting online keeps dropping. Many newbies want to work on a business. I hope to provide an area with plan, e-books and guides to help them.
• TOP 100 Rich Sage Posts: This will be a list that I consider my best posts. The list will not be based on pageviews, but my personal best.
• TOP 100 Rich Sage Reviews: These are the reviews that I am doing for free at this time. Soon, those reviews will be for anyone who wishes to have a review done –for a fee.
• TOP 100 Ways to Make Money Online: This is obvious. All the people venturing online want to find a way to do just that — I’ll help them all I can.
• TOP 100 Internet Promotional Ideas: The ways to promote a business or blog are endless. We all know about the obvious ones. However, I think there are some ideas that would take a million years to come up with. However, on the Internet, someone thought of it, and I’ll try to feature such ideas.
• TOP 100 Publishing Resources: Writing for the Rich Sage blog leads to visitors from everywhere. However, when I post to a few publishing sites such as Digg and Reddit, the visitor count jumps by 20%. I hope to make a nice list here.
• TOP 100 Small Business Resources: Small Business is the key to the US economy. Increasingly, it is the key to a global economy. I hope to provide 100 innovative small business resources for online Entrepreneurs.
• TOP 100 FREE Online Resources: Well, again a resource list, but with FREE aides.
• TOP 100 Rich Sage Blog Tips: As I update the RichSage, I’ve learned a trick or two about running a WordPress CMS. I’ll discuss this in a tips post.
• TOP 100 Make Money Online Resources: Ok, so everyone wants to make money online. This post will point people to resources that will help them do just that.
• TOP 100 Marketing Resources: These are general resources that everyone can take advantage of to build any type of business –online of in the real world.
• 111 Ways to Make Money Online: I’ve already created this post with 131 such ideas. Perhaps, I just need to change the title. More is better, right? I’ll think about it…
• 11 Viral Traffic Generating Methods: I love the “viral idea”. I suppose all these posts are also viral ideas. Who knows. Perhaps, the viral post will become a viral idea.
• 11 Ways to Find Time for Your Business: Everyone complains about having a lack of time to run their own business. However, it seems that the time spent on entertainment keeps going up each year. Why not do both? I enjoy listening to a bit of music while typing away! As for all the other type of entertainment — I don’t have time for that.
• 11 Step Make Money Start Up Plan with ClickBank: For the Internet Marketing Newbie, there’s no potential money making playground like ClickBank. I’ll explore how someone can get started, pick the products to sell and get started generating traffic in a short tutorial.
• 11 Ways to Use Articles to Explode Your Business: Articles are a great way to generate traffic. They are a very quick way to build traffic. That is partly why I setup the Article Mint, free article publishing site. I’ll outline and look in depth how a new online start up can use articles to build traffic and sales right from the start.
• 11 Traffic Sources: This will be an essay on the best traffic sources, which I will update from time to time.
• 11 Authority Site Tips by the Rich Sage: Authority sites get great traffic from the search engines. I’ll explore how to get one started, build the traffic and monetize it over a short period of time.

It seems like material for 24 excellent posts with a few of them actually done. Many of them, as I said, are a work in progress as they will be updated as necessary.

It will be interesting what percentage of traffic these posts generate versus the other seemingly daily updates that I post here. I’ll have to see. Well, back to work.
