Search Engine Optimized Strategy with WORDPRESS

I am sure you’re aware that I am using Wordpress to manage the RichSage site.  I am actually using it on many hundred sites on my publishing network.

The advantage of using Wordpress is that it has built in optimization abilities –everything from a time-stamps for the posts to the way posts, comments and various other published materials are displayed is advantages to search engine traffic.

Here are some more tips that I’ve added to that and implemented in my SEO strategy:

1. I moved the domain from my virtual private server (VPS) to a dedicated server, which was my backup server. However, hosting one domain on it is not going to harm anything. 
2. The RichSage.COM site has it’s own domain IP address.
3. I’ve extended the registration period for the domain to 5 years –the fact that it expires tell the search engines that I am serious about my online effort and saw to it to protect the ’property’ until 2012. 

Now the major initiative that is left is to get a lot of one-way links coming back to RichSage.com!

The last part will not happen automatically. I’ll now get busy working on it.
