The Perfect Automobile for a Rich Sage

Not too long ago I wrote about the Tesla Roadster, my 2008 car of the year.  The only problem was that I knew I was a tad too tall for it.  I barely fit in any sports car because I am around 196 CM or 6′ 4″.  I’d never have the head room that I need.

Now comes a solution directly from Tesla — Their “S” model sedan.  And what a beautiful creation it is… All these years I have admired the progress of the Maserati Quarttropote Sports Sedan.  The Tesla Sedan is an all-electric that is even sleeker and more versatile than the Quarttroporte.

The Grand Quartroporte I’ve displayed below has a muscle car look in an elegant stance, while the Tesla Sedan, is just damn cool.  The new slick, futuristic cool.

ABOUT the PICTURE:  NO, this is not the perfect auto… Just Close. Click below to the Tesla Sedan pictures to see the perfect automobile!

While the Maserati looks are good, aggressive and “macho”, I still was not pleased with the lack of a futuristic energy management.  Why not make such a beast a plug-in hybrid with even more power with dual or wheel type electric motors?  Even worse, with a $135,000.00 price tag the Quattroporte gets pricy quickly.

Pictures of the Tesla Sedan…

When I take all that I wish I had in a Quattroporte, I have a Tesla Sedan at about 35% of the price!  Who can beat that?

The Tesla Sedan

Looking from the side it’s got very sleek lines that make it look very long.  Under the hood it even has more storage.  I wonder if by production time there will be a small motor to recharge the batteries for extended driving?  In the back, there are rear-facing seats that add two more seating positions, I suppose for kids.  That makes the total passenger number 7!

From the top it looks like an all glass conopy.  The overall lines are just as sexy — all rounded corners with an overall design coming out of the Apple studios.

Wow!  The back is not bad either.  The rear trunk allows for extra seating, as I mentioned, and oversized cargo, like a family station wagon.

What’s even more impressive is the sub $50,000 price tag with a $7,500 tax credit.  Not bad timing at all when 15% of the cars price is subsidized by Uncle Sam.

Lastly, a few performance figues were given, but I believe with the pace of battery technology, the miles per charge and charge time will only improve as the production version of the Tesla Sedan comes to market in 2011.

Now a Conversation about Making Money:

With all these advancements, one is going to see a mass reduction in costs.  If you look at the above cars –just compare the old piston technology with the modern electric drive train.  Well, the electric does not even have one.  Yes, there is no transmission, there is no inturnal combustion engine.  Thus, two of the most expensive parts to up keep –the transmission and engine on the new Tesla Sedan are not there, driving the price of maintainence down.

This is what I see happening all around as the cost of transportation comes down, the cost of energy comes down –especially green energy costs come down, the overall cost of living will decrease in many areas.

However, due to inflationary pressures, arrising from mainly a devalued dollar, the cost of living will remain the same –our purchasing power will diminish.

Just take the idea of publishing a book… Just a few years ago the only option was a mainstream launch at great expense.  Writers had to rely on publishing houses.

Consider the options now –there are several publishing options from limited printed book runs, to made-to-order publishing to just an e-book.  Overall, the costs are greatly reduced, and the authors outlets are greatly expanded.

What this means to all of us is that we may have to make less and also expect less from the revenue end with many of the income opportunities.  Unless, one is operating on a platform that is original and the benefit to the customer is immence.  In that case, as there should be, one can expeact to earn a very good income.  I just happen to mention that because I believe I have created such an opportunity.

That is a beautiful car for sure! I am really liking what I am hearing and seeing of the tesla sedan, it makes me want to even give up my dream of owning an Audi or a BMW for this!

Looks like the car will go into production, now a year later, with the help of the DOE loan. I also hope that the battery life and recharge times will be 50% greater and a full charge is reaches in just an hour or two.

Then plug all that into solar and it’s practically free energy!
