Tip-of-the-Day Product Development

Category: MAKING MONEY

In the Warrior Forum, which is the only forum that I’ve actively participated (I’ve registered the RichSage at a lot of forums just ”take out” the name) I posted my plan for 131 tips, which got deleted.

So, I am doing the posts one by one. In todays’ installment, I pointed to the fact that creating a product in an existing niche, in an existing market is better than beging the NEW KID on the BLOCK.

This is #3 in my continued series to present 131 lessons to help build traffic and business online:  Develop a product after you find a market. Don’t build a product and go searching for a market!

In this post I’d like to explore some of the ideas that we need to follow, and problematic situations that we need to avoid.  The basis for the suggestions is the “crowd” type of mentality –when you are part of a crowd, people want to participate. IF you are solo, then it not that easy to “find the buyers”.

I suppose I need to look at my own objectives –My niche is IM, and it is because I have found out that in order to find people to work with the AD Network that I’ve founded, that I what I need to do –HELP IM participants make money.

Let’s get to just that –what needs to be done.

I think these are the key elements that you need to look for when you want to write a REPORT, E-BOOK, ARTICLE and Even Create a blog or website, and they are:

STEP ONE:
In the NICHE you have picked, what help and problems are the people seeking solutions? (check into niche forums to find out)

STEP TWO: Ask yourself… In the NICHE I have picked:
1. Are the potential customers looking for free solutions OR are they serious about solving a problem and are willing to pay to resolve those problems? (check into clickbanks’ marketplace to see customer behavior with similar product popularity)

2. Are you going to HELP/PARTICIPATE in the BUYING PROCESS –AT the start (information) or AT THE END –helping with BUYING DECISIONS? (for example, buying decision help can = a discount coupon, or free bonus)

3. Lastly, is the TIDE of TRAFFIC, SEARCHES, etc. going up OR down? (it’s hard to swim against the tide –pick a growing niche. Example –Weight loss (category), Niche? Kids Weight Loss, which is growing fast.)

Ok, so, after a lot of research you know that there exists:
A> Problems in Niche
B> You have solutions.
C> Start working on solutions –e-books, reports, articles, membership sites, etc., etc.
D> LASTLY, don’t excluded REAL WORLD physical products.

My goal is to keep experimenting and showing examples of all this work thru the Rich Sage Membership.  I’ll keep going on the 131 TIPS, as I think the salvation to success is within.
